- The party took a moment in the evening rain to plan their next moves before deciding on a trip to the Glades River Encampment. A sad and half-empty Vistani camp stood before them as solemn music filled the air. Arrigal, who had met the party earlier in their adventure, introduced the group to his brother Luvash. They were told about Luvash's daughter, Arabelle, a young Raunie (Vistani Seer) and how she has been missing for over a day now. The Vistani have search parties looking across Barovia for her, including the local Dusk Elves who live at the camp. Domitrius gave the toy he picked up for the little girl to Luvash, who was touched by this. In return, Luvash gave them Arabelle's necklace, so that the young girl would trust them. He informed the group that Arabelle liked sneaking out to go to Saint Andral's Orphanage in Vallaki sometimes to talk to the kids and watch the festivals through the walls.
- The Vistani gave the group some tips for sneaking into town, since they themselves were typically unwelcome. Arrigal spoke with Iolas a little about his connection to the Dusk Elves, and promised a story if he arrived back with good news. The party spent the night in camp with the Vistani. In the night, the entire group was attuned to staff by small black wines attached to their skin. Since Iolas was keeping watch, he was unaffected by this.
- The party left for town once again. Using the cover of rain and Pass Without Trace, they were able to sneak to the wall, pass through the hole, and split up going different directions in town. Caleb and Wagner met with Jeni Greentree to purchase some spell scroll components and ginger tea. They were warned of the power of their newl found staff. Jeni said she believed that Gulthias was not in fact the name of the Forest Folk who you got the staff from, but perhaps something even more evil. When Caleb asked for further information, Jeni theorized that the staff was some sort of symbiote, extending its foul magic from itself to its hosts.
- The rest of the group went to The Cracked Anvil to purchase some gear. Carýll was given a hard look of suspicion by the shop owner, Rowley.
- Caleb and Wagner visited Wachterhaus where the entire party was invited that night to dinner and conversation with Mrs Lady Fiona Wachter. Mrs Wachter's assistant Ernst Larnak demanded the group to clean up beforehand and to purchase some clothes appropriate for dining with nobility.
- The other side of the party then visited Saint Andral's Orphanage where they met a few of the orphans as well as Headmistress Claudia Belasco. The group was able to get some information about Arabelle from the orphans, and how it was the first time they had seen her on the inside of the walls. The kids said the Vistani girl was with some grimy looking man with a straw hat and a bottle of wine. Arabelle was also holding a strange looking toy before they walked off, further into town. When mentioning missing children, Ms Belasco mentioned seeing a disheveled woman about a week ago. This woman was searching for two girls, and she seemed to match the description of Caryll's wife. This was before the woman, ran back off into the forest.
- With some new leads to go on, the party continued their search through the town.
