  • The party arrived back at the Glades River Encampment, but this time with Bluto and Arabelle in tow. After a joyful reunion with Luvash and Arrigal, the party went back to the main camp while the camp leaders "took care of" Bluto. At the main tent, Arabelle excitedly asked the group questions about Madam Eva and offered to look at the party's Threads of Fate. One by one, she offered as much information and clarification on the Tarokka Cards that she could manage.
  • Once the brothers returned to the tent (without Bluto), everyone took a trip to visit the Vistani treasure wagon. There, the party was given a chance to select from any single item inside the wagon as a thank you for rescuing the young girl. Caleb smartly cast Detect Magic in the wagon and could easily see that the broom was giving off a heavy glow. Choosing that item, they discovered it was a Broom of Flying.
  • As promised, the Vistani told the group a story of the most infamous Dusk Elf in Barovia, a man named Rahadin. They discovered that the Dusk Elves were to be punished under Strahd's orders. Rahadin then slaughtered the remaining Dusk Elf women to force the men to watch the slow dying of their race. After the story, they met some of the Dusk Elves that lived in the houses surrounding the camp. There, they met the leader of the remaining Dusk Elves, a scarred and broken man by the name of Kasimir Velikov and his son Savid. This ended up being Iolas' uncle and cousin, who were happy to reunite with long-lost family.
  • After saying their goodbyes for now, the group left the camp and headed back to Vallaki. Before dinner, they picked up their newly tailored clothes at Thrice Thread Clothiers and took well needed bathes at the Blue Water Inn. Over the best meal they have had in Barovia so far, the group spoke to Lady Fiona Wachter about their views on the current status of the town, its laws, and The Baron. After much conversation, Mrs Wachter started probing the party to see if they would be willing to help "get rid of" Izek Strazni, as that would pave the way for an easier overthrow of The Baron himself. In a show of goodwill, Lady Wachter will now allow the group to look through her library for any books they may find helpful.
