The Expanse is the most inland portion of the city of Evershoal. Heavy streams of smoke rise above the myriad structures and the smell of burning wood and coal, cured meat and fish, and strong spices fill the air. Stretching eastward, toward the wilds, most of the industry and large merchant companies operate here in order to be maximally accessible for inland trade routes.
