Chaac

Chirus's grandmother, a longstanding and very respected member of the Bosaadakan Council who was suspicious of Chaliya's influence over Saba Coll. Chirus thinks he was Exiled to put pressure on her, but strongly believes that she has avoided what he calls the Taint, the strong corrupted thinking common to those who fall in line with Chaliya's plans. An elderly tabby-hued tabaxi woman with more than a few scars from a more adventurous youth she rarely speaks of, Chaac is somewhat slight of build and frequently cloaks herself in muted colors, believing her first duty on the Council is to the people of Bosaa, not her own grandeur. Slow-paced, considered, often wry, and impatient with fools and distractions alike, Chaac has a reputation as one of the Council’s most reliably neutral members, preferring long thought and deep study to hasty decisions or rash reactions.
