Rahadin was a dusk elf man who served the Von Zarovich family for several generations as a chamberlain and military general. He was made an honorary member of the Von Zarovich family by King Barov Von Zarovich and was considered an elder brother to Strahd Von Zarovich. Besides serving Strahd, Rahadin also served a powerful demon called Somnara. With Somnara, he imprisoned the goddess, Sehanine Moonbow, and her avatar, Priliv Malika, in the Temple of Sehanine at Luna Lake. He also committed genocide against his own people, murdering every dusk elven woman and child, who were gathered at the temple for a religious holiday.
He was killed by Cherish Heiss, with aid from Ezmerelda D'avenir and Rodaal, during a battle at the Temple of Sehanine, 400 years after he imprisoned Sehanine. The goddess was freed by Team TRASH (pandas), who also delivered Rahadin's head to her. She completely destroyed it with eight magic arrows, ensuring that Rahadin could never be brought back to life.
