Patrina was a dusk elf woman who was meant to become a priestess of Sehanine Moonbow. However, she betrayed her people and religion in favor of worshipping the demon, Somnara. She gave Somnara permission to enter the Temple of Sehanine, knowing that, not unlike a vampire, Somnara could only enter with an invitation. She also fell in love with Strahd Von Zarovich and got engaged to be married to him. Before her wedding, however, she was murdered by her brother, Kasamir Velikov. Now, she haunts the crypts of Castle Ravenloft as a banshee.
