No connection is made.
- Damien: His Mother
Rinaldo is able to make some connection and in it shares the experience that ranges from love and protection, to fear, then darkness. In it he shares a vision of 3 silhouetted figures, two of them feminine and one a child. In this vision, there is a bright flash of fire that silhouettes them and the child is ushered from one female into the arms of another - the second full enveloping the child into an aura of darkness.
Rinaldo reaches out into the beyond in search of Jogrin and clues to his disappearance. This is the most stable connection Rinaldo is able to make and he is able to experience a number of vivid visions in answer to Nox's Questions. He shares this information
- The back of a dark haired man with fine boots in the swashbuckler fashion.
- On the boots, a Sigil Pin of a black flag with a golden wolves paw.
- He experiences the taste of a delicious muffin, sullied by the overwhelming taste of iron before clutching his chest as a full body shivering consumes him.
- When asked why he believes he was killed, Dot becomes overtaken by the experience herself and is drawn into her own vision:
- *Dots wings flare up without warning and her crystalline blue eyes flash white, for a moment, the room is filled with a frigid chill.**
- In this moment Dot finds herself in a blindingly white space floating, within what feels like an endless bright void. Her feet rest on a feathery soft surface and a bitter cold engulfs her. She senses her body rising higher and higher in elevation atop this platform. Huge triangular black spikes begin to rise up around her small at first and then rising to surround her entirely, she realized she stands in the palm of a giant creature. These aren't spikes, but talons like her own. Upward, Upward she rose until a gargantuan figure began to take form. That of a snowy owl-like form with curved ram like horns. As is draws her closer small slits between these horns blink open - a pair of giant icy blue eyes gaze back. It turns it's head all the way around, as owls do and clicks a beak. The resemblance is uncanny, its like looking back at a larger version of yourself. It surveyed her, sizing her up and a voice in your mind echo's as if bouncing off walls of ice. "Tell Them." If she makes it this far without backing out of the vision she begins to recite the Rime of the Frostmaiden before coming back into herself.
- *Dots wings flare up without warning and her crystalline blue eyes flash white, for a moment, the room is filled with a frigid chill.**
Rinaldo: The White Lady
- Rinaldo is able to attempt to reach out to the spirit, but in truth, she is already nearby and needs not be found. Grim watches as she comes through the wall and drifts into the space they are in. Rinaldo, exhausted from the nights work, fails to keep a calm connection to her and her visage shifts to that of a Poltergeist before the party can ask her any questions. A nasty combat leaves the party hurting after Dot is possessed and wreaks havok on the group. They eventually remove the spirit from her form, and dispatch it, but not before the Inn's Owner Bartaban Gable lies dead among them.
