The time had come for the party to make their return to Thunder Bluff. Two weeks had gone by since they had parted away with Hamuul and the druids, as well as with Turuk Thunderhoof and Nim, to investigate matters in Mulgore.
Before they did depart from Bloodhoof Village, they made sure to sell off the kodo that they had gotten hold of from the Venture Co goblins. Then came two long days along the road from the village to the slopes of the mesas; where the party stabled their mounts in the little foothill town out late in the evening.
One elevator ride later, and they made their way to Nahari Cloudchaser at Cloudchaser Jewelcrafting, lucky enough to catch her despite her store having closed for the night. They informed her that the problem had been sold, got their reward, and even managed to convince her to let them barter some gemstones while they were already there.
The night was spent at The Cat and the Shaman, a small inn ran by a tauren named Pala, where Gan Jedi managed to score himself a room for the party to stay in return for him playing music for the establishment while they were there.
Kelrith Shalith and Zachariah Hallowhold then took out into the evening streets together. They retraced their steps back to the Amphitheater at the city's highest rise, where Zachariah managed to again find some of the tauren who had listened to the forsaken's words last time he was in the city.
Kelrith and Zachariah both joined home together with these tauren, taking up lodging at their stead and sharing with them the words of the light and dark. Out into the late hour ...
Before the next day, the party reconvened and decided it was time to head to the Elder Rise to meet Hamuul Runetotem again. A reunion long overdue.
When they did get there, Hamuul told the party that Naralex had already departed back to Unknown and had taken the shards of darkness from within the Wailing Caverns back with him. The elven archdruid had hopes to study them more closely, and understand what they were.
After this, and after heartfelt thanks and rewards from Hamuul and his fellow druids -- Tonga Runetotem and Nara Wildmane in particular -- the party made their way back out into the city.
Kelrith commissioned himself the services of a tauren blacksmith named Karn Stonehoof, who sold the paladin a set of Mithral-made armor and carefully engraved the insignia of the Argent Dawn upon its front.
Then, they set course for The Pools of Vision, now to meet Turuk and Nim again.
They met the two where the party had peered into the waters on their last visit to Thunder Bluff. An ominious vision was shared with them, one that saw the lush peaks and valleys of the Stonetalon Mountains wreathed in flame and with fire elementals run amok. The exact nature of the event they did not know, but they understood it as an omen.
More so, they had managed to get hold of another shaman in Stonetalon, at Sun Rock Retreat; one Unknown. Maggran was the acting chief of Sun Rock Retreat, to what capacity he held the title with a Horde commander also keeping a garrison by the village.
Turuk and Nim petitioned for the party to make way to Stonetalon, seek out this Maggran, and see what they could do to be of aid. Servius Felheart and Gan Jedi were particularly worried by what they were seeing, and together the party decided to agree with this plan. They would make way north and investigate.
