TFC - Room 8

Dungeon Description

North Entry -

  • Trapped and Unlocked Simple Wooden Door (10 hp)
  • Contact Poison: DC 15 to find, DC 10 to disable; affects each creature which touches the trigger, DC 12 save or take 2d10 damage
  • Destroyed

West Entry -

  • Trapped and Unlocked Iron Door (60 hp)
  • Symbol of Panic: DC 10 to find, DC 20 to disable; affects all targets within 2m, DC 15 save or become frightened for 1d4 rounds
  • Leads to room #31, inhabited by Ghast and 2 Ghouls 

Features -

  • Several square holes are cut into the ceiling and floor
  • Several sundered shields are scattered throughout the room

Puzzle -

4 square platforms in the floor stand a bit higher than the floor. Standing on any platform lowers it down.

The order of standing is decided by weight, to solve the puzzle the players need to stand on the platforms starting with the lightest player to the heaviest one, standing in any different order will raise the platforms back again.

After all the platforms are lowered and the puzzle is solved correctly, the room spins and unlocks a secret section of the dungeon.
