In the afternoon, Yanzu Jormop gathered The Raven Shield, Klirr, Brixom Malpa and Gasha Ugdug to say their goodbyes to their fallen comrades.

Gathering in a peaceful park, Yanzu led the ceremony.

"So often, in this line of work, we don't have anyone to bury. And that's hard.
We of the Raven Shield have found our own tradition in that.
It is our way of saying goodbye to those that stood in defence of others - to close the chapter of their lives. No one is ever truly gone, as long as we remember them. And together, we will.
Take the powder in your hands and think of the person we lost."

After this, Gasha, Yanzu, and Brixom took their turns.

"Ellalwel, elf, ranger, warrior, lover, I let you go."
"Anamuus dragon born, paladin, friend, I let you go."
"Mara, halfling, sneaky rogue, protege, student, I let you go."
Nova Amaril said goodbye to Makaria, and Silaqui to Nijel.

The next day, the party took Nix to the Summer's Start Faire, in an attempt to lift her spirits. After petting the baby griffon, the Amazing Maze and catching the swine, the party put together a special surprise for her, gifting her a green velvet robe and wooden sword.

After sparring with Maloc, Nix was taken for a candied apple. A figure watching from the shadows saw this as an opportunity to make his move; Everard Kane appeared before Silaqui, wanting his vengeance for the death of his brothers (Session 4: The Defense of Oldsbrook). Before he could get to Silaqui, Nova struck him down with the Lunar Blade.

Alerted by the fight, Pryanna Solis arrived and took witness statements, letting the party go.

Back at the Hog's Head, the party was briefed by Brixom and Yanzu about the upcoming social event, and the job that lays ahead of them.
