Arriving at the Summer's Start Banquet in their finest evening wear, The Raven Shield set about their mission: acquaint themselves with the many guests at the banquet, in order to uncover who petrified Elenora Sinask at last year's banquet.
Lord Mezam introduced himself to Silaqui, seemingly delighted that she was still alive, and therefore revealing himself to be Namzeru, who the party encountered at the Ruined Tower in the Whisperwoods. He was then spotted talking extensively with Umbrun Orimnar.
Khari Urdul, Belia Wylcey and Alwel Ellaltas were encountered, the latter being flanked by a watchful Ser Amos. The party harbored specific suspicions towards Vincio Monto and Ferana Blenwaldt. Radomir was also spotted.
With the entrance of Summer's Glowing Embrace and First Frost After Fall, the Summer Court and Winter Court made their entrance. Nova Amaril introduced herself to the representative of the Summer Court, and inadvertently struck a deal, by asking for the Raven Shield to be 'introduced among interested parties' in the realm of the Fae.
With the clock striking 9, the Raven Shield was pressed into action as Alfredus Sinask entered with his daughter. Ferana Blenwaldt and Vincio Monto were found to be absent from the main hall. Upon inspecting the restrooms, Ferana was encountered heading outside, yet a naked and seemingly unconscious Ferana was also discovered in the lady's bathroom.
Fearing that the Ferana that was now outside was, in fact, an imposter, the Raven Shield moved to intercept and sent Brixom Malpa to watch over the unconscious Ferana.
A tense standoff ensued, with the Raven Shield detaining Ferana against her will. When Brixom emerged, Nova suspected something was afoot and moved to detain Brixom as well.
That's when a winged assassin struck, injuring Ferana and taking off with "Brixom", who turned out to be Vincio in disguise.
Giving chase, the Raven Shield found themselves at the cemetery of Arat's Mercy, where Vincio, the assassin, and a figure they had heard stories about made their stand.
In a fierce battle, they managed to defeat Vincio, the assassin, and the converted city guard. Aslani, however, managed to escape, leaving behind a glowing magic circle.
Thanks to quick thinking on Silaqui's part, the party escaped certain death from the flames that followed but found themselves in a smoldering crater afterwards.
