Swamp Wars

The ongoing wars between the Pundran Magnacy and the Ikand Rajdom over ownership of the ruins of Magnapur, officially referred to as the Pundran-Ikand War for Magnapur. A number of related conflicts have occurred between the two states as both seek the legitimacy of possessing the former capital of Magnapur. For Pundrapur this would allow Magnus the Flaccid to proclaim primacy over the other Magnus claimants, while for Ikandore it would allow the Weeping Rani to either set herself or her son up as a potential claimant, or discredit all existing claimants. The most recent upsurge in the conflict has made much of Lightwards Cunabulum a quagmire of campaigning armies, destroyed settlements, and swarms of corpse eating monsters, including leading to Vetlan declaring its independence.
