Weaknesses: has lots of obligations

Physical Capabilities: In his natural form and Seeming, Rian is quite physically strong, though this is more a product of his height than anything else. 

• Feth Fiada, Second Sight, Wordbinder, Seeming
• Dreaming - not very good at it for a Daoine Sidhe, but can sometimes get by.  He has power over the Hall of Dusk. 
• Shapechange - Natural form, Seeming, Light Form, Dark Form, as described below. 
• Talking to coyotes and fireflies.  Yes our psuedo-Europe has coyotes even though IRL Europe doesn't!   He speaks to the critter in plain Sylvan, and then they speak back to him in Sylvan, but only he can understand. 
• Messenger. He an also summon coyotes and fireflies to deliver messages.  The critter will whisper Sylvan words into someone's ear and then run off. 
• Manipulation of light and darkness. He can't make light sources but can add oomph to what's already there.  He can't put shadows where light doesn't allow but he can darken and extend the ones that are already there. 
• Inner Light.  When Rian touches someone in a friendly/supportive way, sometimes the most prominent good trait that he perceives in them intensifies.  A "good" trait is one that he would consider to be a virtue throughout the person's life, regardless of its usefulness in the short term.  He doesn't get to pick the trait, and he has little control over this ability, it just kind of happens.  If he has misread them and the trait he perceived is not present, then this has no effect. 
• Inner Darkness.  When someone touches Rian in an aggressive/unwanted/uninvited way, sometimes thoughts and feelings from a dark time in the person's life are called to the front of their mind.  It often happens in a way that the person connects what they're thinking and feeling at the moment.

1. This is Rian's Seeming.

His natural form looks similar to this.  A pair of thin horns originates from the space in between his eyebrows, with a delicate curve backward in a gentle squiggled V-shape.  Uh, I'll have to draw a picture.  They are black with yellow bands.  He also has a pair of beetle wings which he can call and dismiss at will, but dismissal of the wings functions as a Seeming.  That means that although the wings won't be bumping into anything, someone with Second Sight can use it actively to see the wings. 

3. Light form. He can also disintegrate into a swarm of fireflies.  When using this form, he can see and hear equally well all around him.  The shape of the swarm generally has a head and two arms with a blob trailing off below them; one could say "spirit-shaped."  It's difficult to harm him in this form unless you can do something that will instantly harm a large number of fireflies.  He cannot speak. 

4. Dark form. This form has the head and ears of a coyote, with long horns sloping back.  The teeth, claws, and horns of this form can all harm someone normally, but the rest of the body is made of amorphous shadow.  This form also has no hind legs and flies around instead of running.
