As one of the oldest Vampires within the city of Cyprus, Elliot's life has been one marked largely by tragedy until recent years chanced to change his fortunes for the better. In the time before he was turned he was a famed duelist, though he can remember precious little else of his former life before he was captured and forcibly turned by the former Lord of the Vampires, Alessandros Scarlatti. Changed into a Vampire in order to become his eternal bodyguard, Elliot was treated quite cruelly by the former Lord during his long years of service and when Christine Scarlatti overthrew her father and took his place as Lord of the Vampires, he was only too happy to swear his fealty to the person her considered to have saved him from a life of torment. Elliot would go on to remain close by Christine's side, becoming both her right hand and closest confidant, though her status as Lord would long keep something of a wall between them. Regardless, working side by side the two of them did all in their power to ensure that their people had a home within Cyprus, no matter how distasteful of a method may have been needed in order to see that promise through.
Following the invasion and subsequent rebuilding of Cyprus, as Christine stepped aside from her long watch as steward of her people, Elliott, alongside his partner and future husband Reeve Ermine Lancaster, stepped forward. He and Reeve would become the first Vampires to publicly announce themselves within Cyprus, coming forward in order to advocate for and to assuage fears that may arise about their misunderstood people, and to pave the way for others of their kind to do the same. One year after the invasion, as a wedding gift, Christine gave over the deed to The Red Curtain, the former center of the Scarlatti's more illicit activities, which has since been transformed into a meeting place for Vampires and beyond under Elliot's stewardship. Currently, Elliot remains active in the affairs of Cyprus and advocate for the needs of the Vampires in their rapidly changing Realm, a simple enough task considering his friendship with King Lenseran Kisurai; and, if Christine is something of a mother to the Vampires of Cyprus, Elliot has become akin to a stern yet kindly uncle.
