Armor (shield), Uncommon
No one is sure which temple or faith developed the magical shield property known as Guiding Light, but it soon became popular amongst faiths dedicated to goodness and light. Today, the shield seems to be most commonly used by the Temple of Pelor, Tyr of the Imperial Temple, and Rao of The Pantheon.
The Shield has the following additional properties that you can use while holding it.
Light. The shield glows as bright as a torch when its wielder commands.
Guiding Bash. When you take the Attack action, you can make one of the attack rolls using the Shield against a target within 5 feet of yourself. Apply your Proficiency Bonus and Strength modifier to the attack roll. On a hit, the Shield deals Radiant damage to the target equal to 1d6 plus your Strength modifier, and the next attack roll made against this target before the end of your next turn has advantage, thanks to the mystical dim light glittering on the target until then.
