The Metaplot

The Jedi Order, seeking to broaden its reach entered into negotiations with the The Imperial Council to be allowed to operate in the space of the The Rimward Imperial Pact. At the request of Dorla Koga and Devin Falgar. They completed these negotiations successfully, with Avak Reeven signing the treaty with Mas Amedda personally.

Responding to a desperate call for help the The Jedi Order raced to the planet of Tythe to support the The Rimward Imperial Pact as the planet came under assault from a massive pirate armada. Through desperate efforts the Jedi managed to help stabilize the line and throw back the pirate raiders! Fires Over Tythe Fires Across Tythe

Mon Mothma, having lead the New Republic since its founding and serving as a leader of the Alliance to Restore The Republic before that, announced on the 20th anniversary celebration of the Battle of Yavin that she would be retiring in a short time. This begins a storm of New Republic politicking and a shift of the balance of power.

Following a breakdown of negotiations a war erupted between the Aurelian Combine and the Caelon Compact. Jedi were caught up in the midst of the outbreak of the conflict and have been involved in a humanitarian context from the start. Doing what they can to reduce the loss of life.

After months of politics and a new election Afa Dedron is elected to the post of Chancellor of the New Republic Senate. She promises to work tirelessly on the behalf of the New Republic to "continue to rebuild, and forge new bonds throughout this galaxy. It is my profound belief that with all of our voices raised together, we shall create a republic for all!"

Ominous, unexplained, and frighteningly sudden, the death of millions on Nethara struck the galaxy with a wave of concern not felt since the announcement of the death star. Heads of state convened with their aides, politicians cast blame, and yet... what was frightening was not just the totality of the destruction of life on the planet... but that there still was a planet. All life had seemingly just died, while the cursed orb floated deathly quite in the void of space. 

The Event was referred to as "the Culling of Nethara" in Republic media circles for the sudden death of all life on the planet without planetary destruction or devastation.

A curious side effect of the event was that from the Masters of the Jedi order, to the Chapter heads of the Imperial knights, to the oddly skilled pickpocket of some outer rim slum, all force sensitives of the galaxy felt the Culling. As if some great vacuum had just burst in the galaxy, pulling them, like a black hole in the force.

but the scariest question that was held by many of the galaxy...
