“Engineering has to be done right or people die, those are the stakes. Period end of sentence.”
Background
Stedus Andrim, a scion of one of the ancient houses that founded Kuat Drive Yards. Stedus was a talented engineer and shipwright from a young age. Trusted with the Kuat Subsystems division on Coruscant. He and his subordinates barely survived the Sacking of Coruscant. Fleeing for their lives they were set upon by Pirates near Dantooine. Only the timely intervention of the Jedi saved him and his people. This confrontation revealed something within Stedus, an aptitude with something the Jedi called the Force. Interested in learning the young Andrim joined the Jedi. Giving himself and his team shelter in the shadow of the fledgling order. Time has proven this to be a fruitful venture as Stedus now a Jedi Knight has put his experience and industry connections to work creating the Andrim-Dymex sub-systems corporation. While this corporation is mostly run by his partner Fertix Dymex, Stedus has struck a deal. In return for his expertise Stedus has secured a limited industrial capacity for the Jedi to order the construction of transportation and starfighters.
Appearence
Stedus is a middle age human male with brown eyes and long dark hair with a moustache and beard.Personality
Upbeat willing to joke around with people. However he knows lives depend on his work and he takes that seriously. He looks out for his people(used to be his employees, now it’s the jedi he trains), if you're his people he’ll do a lot for you. Others he’ll manage needs appropriately.Skillset & Role
Stedus was an accomplished engineer and shipwright long before he was a jedi. He is often seen on Dantooine or Mikkia keeping up with the many vehicles of the order. On top of this he offers his expertise to the Andrim-Dymex sub-systems corporation which allows the Order to have a limited industrial capacity. Giving the orders jedi ships to carry them across the galaxy. He also gives lectures on the basics of engineering, math, science, astronavigation, and programming. Aside from this he is a practitioner of form 1, and approaches issues like a businessman. There’s always a deal to be made.Campaign Development
