Jedi team was assembled at the hangar of the Dantooine temple on short notice, briefing was provided by Knight Landoong regarding the kidnapping of a force-sensitive child, one Emalinda Falpri from the civilian hauler Alteran by pirates. Jedi team, consisting of Knight Landoong, Padawans Desanox and Dessika and Initiates Alnahr, Vaith'alen'viro and Raskt engaged hyperspace travel to meet with the Alteran at their current planetside coordinates on Akiva to establish contact and obtain information as to the kidnapping.
Upon interviewing the crew of the Alteran, Jedi team investigated the interior of the vessel and located a hidden device inside the cargo hold, believed to be an improvised tracker, which led to the conclusion that someone aboard the Alteran was in league with the pirates. Civilian crew informed of the pilot, Amicus, and his transfer to the planetside medical facility due to comatose state. Splinter of Jedi team to investigate confirmed Amicus’ condition. Padawan Dessika and Initiate Alnahr sliced Alteran computer and cockpit camera playback feed, confirming Amicus’ implication in the attack alongside the organization responsible, designated the pirate gang Weeders, led by High Value Target designated Quarver.
Following intel gathered from the crew of the Alteran on Akiva, Jedi team redeployed to Telos IV to locate Point of Interest designated ‘Cistern’ alongside High Value Target designated Quarver of the Weeders. Jedi team first stopped off at an information kiosk to inquire of the whereabouts of the Cistern but inquiry was unsuccessful, leading Jedi team to travel towards a dive-bar designated ‘Rust Bucket’ to obtain further information from the patrons. Padawan Dessika learned the location of the crew’s hideout via a Devaronian from the Crimson Dawn by monetary transaction.
Jedi team travelled on foot to hideout location and split up. Padawan Desanox and Initiate Raskt infiltrated nearby Weeder party to obtain information regarding the traffickers whilst Knight Landoong, Padawan Dessika and Initiate Vaith'alen'viro infiltrated the hideout, whilst Initiate Alnahr held exterior security. Through combined efforts did Jedi team identify and locate the Cistern and confirm that the hostage was still present within the premises.
Jedi team proceeded to perform reconnaissance upon the Cistern POI to locate potential infil and exfil locations upon retrieval of mission critical personnel. Padawan Desanox moved inside and managed to be introduced to two High Value Targets, designated Jupli of the Pyke Syndicate and an unknown droid of presumed affiliations with the Weeders. Padawan Desanox proceeded to utilise deception to pose as a doctor who wished to examine the recent transaction under the guise of assistance and assurance to the sellers, which led to armed escort to the hostage’s location and the confirmation of an additional five Force-Sensitive children being moved as part of the trafficking operation. After brief confrontation, the Pyke Syndicate holdout at POI Cistern was routed and all six children were rescued with zero friendly casualty albeit wounds sustained.
Knight Landoong has since began exchange with families of the children for either return or consented transfer to Jedi Order facility to undergo training. Further request has been made of Padawan Desanox to report still comatose Amicus to relevant planetary authorities on Akiva on the charges of accessory to sentient trafficking under organized crime in addition to accessory to piracy.
