Session Summary
- The team of 5 plus the knight Panye arrived on the planet Abafar with the objective of obtaining the location of and destroying a distillery of spice operated by the Pyke syndicate.
- The teams split into two, one team heading to the local cantina “The Rusty Vibroblade” and the other to a collection of warehouses.
- Riordan and Calirian at the cantina managed to find a smuggler willing to tell them the location of a drop off point at the warehouses.
- Ijo mar D’karo and sliz searched the warehouses, Ijo and D’karo both independently found a spot where the spice might be dropped, and sliz tricked a guard into giving him the exact place and time of the meeting.
- After both groups reconvened at a diner they then went to the warehouses at the designated time and waited for the pykes to show up, after ambushing them in a fight that got calirian injured, two Imperial knights appeared on speeders and helped to wrap up the fight. They communicated afterwards that they were also looking to dismantle the pykes operation.
- After all the Pykes were taken down, two surviving prisoners were interrogated on the location of the distillery, after giving up the exact route to navigate through the desert called the ‘Void’ they were pacified. Then after a small dialogue with the imperial knight and their squire, they agreed to come with the team to the distillery.
- Upon reaching the distillery a plan was made to distract the forces on the above ground portion of the site while the rest of the group made their way inside to destroy the equipment.
- The entry team were attacked by forces inside but quickly dispatched them, the group then made a distraction so that Sliz with a thermal detonator could throw it at the main infrastructure.
- After quickly evacuating the building they rejoined with the jedi outside and got a ride back to town with the Imperials ship they had summoned.
- When they returned there was talk about a pyke hitsquad having killed the smuggler that had given the group information in the cantina.
