Corenthia Avae

Unexpected passenger

Velvet Court liability. Unexpected passenger.

Discovered aboard the ship in an enchanted Transport Coffin marked for HighwaterCorenthia Avae appeared to be a preserved corpse until a disturbing dream and subsequent investigation  revealed she was very much alive, suspended in involuntary stasis.

Awakened by the party in S03 - Frenemies, she offered few details about her situation, other than a reluctant admission of ties to the Velvet Court. She insisted she'd done nothing against them... "yet"... but admitted to knowing something they'd rather keep quiet. It's clear that she’s sharp, cautious, and aware that her return may not go unnoticed.

In S04 - Old Wounds, New Dreams the party returned her to Highwater, for which she paid them 200gp.

Notable Traits

  • Arcane background, illusion-based
  • Calm under pressure, but never fully at ease

Public Information

Registered Citizen of Highwater, Alyndra IsleTalereth

A minor noblewoman from Highwater with known interests in antiquities and arcane textiles. Public records suggest she funded several small magical arts grants in the region and maintained a private estate outside the city, now believed dormant. No formal affiliations with major arcane institutions or noble houses are currently on record.

Corenthia Avae was listed as deceased in an offworld incident roughly one month ago. Her remains were scheduled for return to Highwater via long-range shipping contract, sealed and marked for direct delivery to local caretaker Runek Thorpe.

Known for her discretion and reserved public presence, she left few lasting impressions in local social registries. Some surviving correspondence describes her as “sharp-witted but distant,” and “keenly interested in illusions and historical glamours.”

Official Status: Deceased (pending delivery confirmation)
Residence: Formerly Avae House, Windgrove District
