Loose threads: eliminate the remaining Demons lurking in the mountain caverns next to the east of Roanokae Camp.

Participants: Sirxus, Dominique-Baptiste Emanuel, Syltorin Margaster, Geld, Diane Firalel

Locations: Mountains east of Roanokae Camp

Short summary:

The group set out to do magical research at the behest of Syltorin, which upon arrival we came across a Demon base which we infultrated and slaughtered as many Demons as we could, dealing with all manor of traps. Eventually reaching our goal, we were required to fight a one-on-one duel with the Demonic leader to earn our time to study. After completion we were too weak to fight properly so we retreated with our knowledge ready to prepare for our return in the future.

Field Report #1-DE

Sirxus Lavant reporting a successful research mission in the Mountain range to the East of the Roanokae Camp.

Sir Syltorin Margaster wanted to research an area in the new Continent, so he had gathered skilled individuals such as myself along with the ones known as Geld, Dominique-Baptiste Emanuel, and Diane Firalel. We discovered a large number of pathetic Demons whose only interest was the destruction of beautiful items. Upon purging them from the plane, we entered the dark cavern only to come across two strange wheels that slung curses upon us as we dealt with the Demon hiding inside, upon escaping the area we rested overnight with the help of Geld's magical hut.

Shortly into my watch, we were rudely interrupted by a knocking and a broken half-intelligent (if you can call it that) drawl from a Demon later known to call itself Derek. Upon attacking it, the creature fled and led us through a trap filled corridor and more traps. We confronted it and two other Demons buried in corpses. Purging them, we traveled deep inside and came across a strange woman that floated in the air and had blue skin, who threatened us until her leader arrived.

The leader is one Demon named Agaraal, who looked formidable in his own right, would let us study our quarry only if one of us could entertain him in single combat, which I obliged.

The Demon allowed me to be empowered by my allies in a sense to increase its enjoyment, which it sorely mistook as I battled it to a standstill in which it had to aim for a killing blow to stop my assault. Satisfied, it gave us enough time to study and learn some interesting secrets of their power.

Unfortunately we were unable to rid the area of Agaraal and its servant Sahirafor I was weakened heavily, and my companions could not weather his assault without my full strength.

Mission successful, establishment of secondary goal of purging the area of the Demon Agaraal has been dispatched for a later date, training and hefty preparation is advised.

From my battle, the Demon seemed to favor cold elements along with the power to create a surge of poison to engulf a foe, along with his halberd and tower shield he stands a formidable foe.
