Loose threads: Giant Fortress. Other Megalania?

The mighty Kodzak, not burdened by quests at the moment, recruits a vengeful Tinkado Mushameri, a bored Jirel Flyr, and fiery Ariana Yaxiri, to search the Watchers Island to find a mighty lizard mount. After some discussion, they group travels to the Rydess' Lair. After some delicious blood pudding trails began to find themselves in the mountains. Soon however they are attacked by Wyverns. After a mighty battle where Tinkado nearly died, the group recovered and continued on the mountains. There after sometime they found a curious sight, two Giants chasing down a Continent's Unknown Hunter by the name of Faucor, with them a pet Basilisk. After a tense battle, a Giant was slain and the other Giant fled.
While Kodzak conversed with the Basilisk, Tinkado and Jirel went on a wild hunt after the other Giant. But alas, the Giant escaped into a fort filled with Giants. The Giants, however, did not seek retribution, and the group moved on with a tip from the Basilisk. They traveled further north, deep into the mountains, high as the sky and jagged as stone. Soon they came across circling crows and in the distance they saw a mighty lizard, though a run by its own standards: a Megalania. After brave display of conversation one-on-one with the mighty lizard, Kodzak recruited the huge Lizard, whose name now is Rile. The party then headed back to First Landing.
