Loose threads likely replacements for Tralgron and Toghat, Pact's druids all going their separate ways, Gildenwind's occupation still being fought by Yongbi and the resistance people like Qaweth, Midnight, Regbum, and Krinkith, the traitors and possible 'dragon' still lurking somewhere

Participants Bhitzaoji Ocitra, Gharok, Vhel, Daggoth, Tamiko Sato of House Miyagawa

Locations Roanokae Camp, Dryhaven, Gildenwind

Short summary:

After previously learning that the city of Gildenwind had been beseiged and occupied by the Pact, the party gathered and went to Roanokae Camp to assist the refugees there and gather information, helped fight off a sudden attack from Olog's Pact, a.k.a. The Horde, then made their way to Dryhaven for more info and their best recommendations on sneaking past the standoff at the bridge and into Gildenwind, which they accomplished with Daggoth's invisibility, Vhel scouting a good spot for them, and Mr. Whiskers digging a tunnel into an abandoned basement. Once inside, Tamiko went out in an illusory disguise and ended up being found by Yongbi while helping a resident escape the wrath of the occupying Pact guards. They talked in a safe place and Yongbi gave directions for the party to meet up with one of the local resistance groups the next day (using more of Daggoth's invisibility, which they would continue to rely on to get around the city undetected), and there learned that some of the resistance's biggest targets were Tralgron (demon torturer and coordinator of mercenaries), Toghat (captain of the guards and the resistances' most relentless pursuer), and Batul (leader of the Pact's druids, who facilitated the siege alongside The Coalition traitors and were responsible for repairing structures and managing Pact farms).

With that, the party waited alongside a young edgy rebel named Regbum to ambush Tralgron and his guards, and also apply fulus granted by Yongbi to break his control over a Coalition sergeant named Krinkith. Together they killed the demon and his retinue, then escaped to Yongbi's hideout, where they briefly rested while Bhitzaoji joined him in an extradimensional elemental basement to negotiate with one of his celestial patrons, Han Xiuyuan. Ultimately they didn't convince the celestial to support Yongbi's initial plan of burying the druids in the tunnels by giving up his Localized Earthquake scroll, instead getting some magic to keep them from running and going along with Xiuyuan's idea to try diplomacy to convince the druids to leave the city. After much discussion, Tamiko attempted this by appearing to the druids in xer fox form with a fulu that granted xer speech, and just barely succeeded in convincing the druids to go their separate ways and fight larger battles (especially the corrupting presence of demons in the Pact hierarchy) than what they were tasked with there.

The next day, after a long rest, the party learned that an enraged Toghat was publicly interrogating citizens over the whereabouts of the Resistance and threatening to execute them. Thus they set out to intercept him and his retinue and engaged in complicated telepathic preparations (courtesy of Daggoth) to invisibly secure the hostages (courtesy of Vhel) and make a heroic ultimatum to the guards, though Gharok made a grand-scale fight unnecessary by challenging Toghat to a duel with their respective causes and prides on the line, a duel which Gharok emerged victorious from despite Toghat's greater skill. True to their word, the rest of the guards voluntarily retreated from the scene and the hostages went free. Not wanting to overstay and hoping the resistance members could capitalize on the destabilized occupation, the party recalled not long after.
