Previously on The Moot Speaker an adventuring group obtained a very powerful staff of air from a hag and returned it to a group of cultists. However, the adventuring group was unable to destroy the hag. Our group was assembled to ensure that the hag didn't try to create a new, more powerful, staff.

While meeting at the The Blinking Pug to discuss a plan to destroy the hag the adventuring group was approached by a mysterious sylph woman who offered help to defeat the hag. She gave the group several Potion of Resistance (Moderate) - Electricity. Her motives were not completely clear, so the group apprehensively took the potions.

Shortly after leaving first landing the party was traveling through the Greyspine Mountains and happened upon a group of dwarves being attacked by an eagle. The party rushed to aid the dwarves from the beast swooping from above. After defeating the eagle we discovered that one of the dwarves had taken the eagle's eggs for dinner. Had the party understood the situation we might have left the eagle alone to mete out the punishment.

After leaving the mountains the next adventure of note was in the Silent Forest. We came across 4 statues of various humonoid figures with some form of magic emanating from them. It became clear that abjuration magic had turned these creatures to stone. The group was able to steer clear of any traps and continue our journey.

Nothing of note happened until the adventuring party approached the hag's fort in the western mountains of Rydess. The group was able to spot an Air Wisp and Alena Daywalker destroyed it with a single blow before it could alert the hag to our presence. The party was able to sneak into the fort undetected. The fort had fallen into disrepair long ago and the only sign of life was a single room where the group found the hag working to construct a new staff. The party confronted the hag and she dropped quickly, but not before calling for several Air Elementals to her aid. The elementals proved to be formidable foes and the party would surely be slain if not for a few lucky hits.

Paperwork at the fort revealed plans for the hag to create a new staff, but the group was unsure of it's nature as it was written in Jotun. The plans were brought back to First Landing and it was discovered that the hag was working on a Staff of the Tempest.
