Mlle Macqueline is a tailor living and working in Cynosure. She appears as a beautiful, impeccably dressed Humanoid woman with dark hair and a constant smile. She might be a Unknown, though it is uncertain what her ancestry truly is – one never knows, with the Fey.

According to Midori, Macqueline dresses much of the Fey high society, including many nobles who attended Aseron's Wedding; Lady Sjel, who appreciates beauty and fashion, was seen visiting the atelier a number of times. This workshop is called "the Silken Salon".

'The Silken Salon' is where high society of the local Fey gets dressed to kill. It is a rather large building of iron (not the cold variety), glass, and colourful ceramics, located on the verge between the Harbour of Cynosure and the richer residential district.

Outside, like many other structures around it, 'the Silken Salon' is made up of sinuous curves of plants and flowers, with a sense of elegant dynamism and movement, and marked by unusual forms, occasional asymmetry, and whiplash lines.

Stepping inside, Hecret finds himself in a spacious atelier, with many outfits on display. There is a number of sitting areas available, as well as podiums where measurements and fittings would take place.

Macqueline cocoons the purchased goods in rich silks, bound tightly by scarlet, tasseled ribbons bearing the gilded sigil used by her atelier – two interlocked four-pointed stars.

- Macqueline is a Jorogumo in disguise.

- She cares little for the marriage itself, but is in love with the pomp, theatricality, and ceremony of weddings, funerals, divorces, and similar events, to the point that she keeps marrying new husbands, only to divorce them shortly after, or to see them disappear or die under... mysterious circumstances. She isn't even the one killing them all, but those that she does, she devours, or uses as egg incubators.

- Macqueline oftens plays the role of a matchmaker, aiming to join (even random) people in marriage, purely for the sake of the weddings themselves.

- Even when married, she refuses to be called Madame, defaulting to Mademoiselle instead.

- She might have connections to the Weaver, or even be Tainted by them.
