Full Report

As much as have happened during this mission, I can only tell this much - it was... confusing.

Firstly, Toma has gathered our party with explicit goal to remove the vampire threat in Javervale. Team with various tools and expertise in dealing with these undead. There we were indeed working towards that exact goal. Hired by the executors of House Astrodius, we had no resources provided to aid our mission, but we did acquire knowledge.

Armed with that knowledge we began looking for signs of undead, invisible in mirrors, in a city of mirrors. We found very little I suppose, though Toma seemed to have noticed more than he let on. At night we ventured out, hoping to provoke an attack.
We were successful.
We managed to fight them off, managing to curse one with an unremovable mark guiding us to them.

This lead us to their lair.
Therein confusion begins.

Rather than begin cleansing, we got recruited by them to aid in revolution against the Executors. After short rest, after the sunset, we ventured out with the goal of acquiring silver weapons, so that vampires are less threatened by the republic's military. We did not exactly manage to find it, at least not in time. Couple units reached them before we found them. In the end we followed them, under the guise of helping them?

Combat that ensued was even stranger.
Toma exclaimed his intent to overthrow the executors, placing us squarely against the republic forces we were surrounded by. For a moment we had hope that vampires would manage to even the odds out, but a single spell from executor Irma wiped all but one of them out. We were given a single chance to stand down.

We took it.
And then more vampires arrived, as well as a halfling, whereas the one remaining vampire managed to dominate executor Ingo.
It seemed almost as if Toma would remain steadfast in his conviction, but then he turned on the vampires that appeared to help us? Ultimately we worked with Executors, lead them to the lair of the vampires, and actually removed them entirely.
At least to my knowledge.

Addendum:

The following people of interest were killed in the Vampire Hunt:

- The Vampires' Progenitor

- Rengoth and his band of rebels

- Loytes mayor of a First Landing settlement

- Prissolu mayor's assistant at said settlement

The Guild offers their condolences to friends and family of Mrs. Loytes and Ms. Prissolu. We deeply regret the Guild's inability to prevent this tragedy.
