Dora Maira

Dora Maira spent most of her early life in academia studying ancient relics, artifacts and the history attached to them.
She was good at her work - but apparently not good enough at the politics surrounding it. So she eventually decided that a commoner job might be less exhausting.
She found work as an appraiser in a magical thrift shop in the City Center. There, she discovered that people are generally more interested in the monetary worth of an object than in a forty-page paper about it.
She has gotten used to the less glamorous, more relaxing life and built a network of friends, clients, merchants, and fellow collectors. But after a century of examining the umpteenth bent spoon or rusty candelabra, Dora has decided it is time to do some fieldwork of her own. Who knows what treasure lies beyond?
