The Howling Longbow is a Ferozen war bow, a significant improvement over the Hunting Bow from which it derives, designed for the muscular Ferozen soldier to take full advantage of. It was said that the best archers from Tasmania could make a howling longbow punch through rows of shields, killing the soldiers behind. Regardless of the myth, it is a spectacular weapon for engaging armoured and unarmoured targets at a distance.
