The Jill-Luh isles consist of a northern and southern part, which are cloaked in eternal winter and summer respectively. The Summer Isle, as its often called, is geographically considered part of Tearithia by the Gaufridus-Standard, in contrast to its northern counterpart which is counted as part of the Ycillya dominion.
Unique to the rest of Tearithia is its form of government, as in Jill-Luh the power lies with the people, as it once had in the heyday of the Aurum Imperium. In a form of electoral democracy, the dragonborn of these isles are granted the power to vote for representatives that will fight for their ideals and needs. The Republic of Jill-Luh has two main seats from which their parliament rules, namely one on each isle. Every 4 years, when the voting process happens, they switch places to maintain a delicate balance without any favor towards one of the isles. It has been 3 years since the last voting and the parliament currently resides in Tiamat's Tail on the Summer isle.
