Honourbound is the ancestral greatsword of House Redmayne and is currently in possession of Ramhart Redmayne.
It was forged by Gaelhart Redmayne after his trek from Stormhold to Firehold during the construction of the latter. It has since passed down to every Lord-Liege of the castle and has become a symbol of honour, power and duty.
The design is sleek and the etchingsmade by Gaelhart Redmayne are still as visible as when he made them. It's as tall as an average Human and is near-impossible to wield for most people.
It's rumoured to be coated in an ancient magic that forms to its wielder, giving it abilities and features that synergize with their fighting style. While it has never been fully documented what wide array of abilities this weapon is capable of, some have been observed throughout history. For example, the ability to recall the weapon from a large distance or to use the weapon as an arcane focus.
