Between Fairy's Rest and the Savage Lands lies the green, watery paradise of Merna. A relatively peaceful nation that has managed to avoid conflicts and wars despite being flanked by two of the most dangerous regions on Arda. Home to many Tritons, Sea Elf, Lizardfolk, and Merfolk, Merna is somewhat of a touristic destination for wealthy travelers. The Eratus Empire tried to invade during the 2nd era but found the gains not worth the cost — its jungle forests and swamps offer little strategic value, and its defenders showed combat superiority in naval warfare. Orc raids from the Savage Lands were similarly repelled. Since then, Merna has remained largely untouched by war. However, those who venture there know it is far from perfect — little law enforcement means tribes constantly fight for territory.

The inner water part houses underwater cities that occasionally become exposed when water levels drop.
