Description

Wood Elves are the bulk of the elven population. They are the elf you expect to see in the forest, the one who hides in plain sight within the trees, the one that silently fires an arrow that finds its target across 600 feet and between trees. All legends and lore one will hear about elves, they originate from those who are now called Wood Elves. Wood elves build their societies in forested areas, avoiding altering the natural landscape as much as possible. They live on treehouses and coexist with animals with ease. Civilization advances way too fast for their liking, and they feel suffocated when placed in large cities.

Genetics

Their prolonged life in the forests, has given Wood elves differences in physical traits and appearance from the High Elves. They are usually shorter, faster and Wood elves’ skin tends to be copperish in hue, sometimes with traces of green. Their hair tends toward browns and blacks, but it is occasionally blond or copper-colored. Their eyes are green, brown, or hazel.

Reputation

Wood elves have a reputation of being hard to approach and often lacking manners. Life in the forest has taught them very different society standards, which often make them unpleasant company among others. When such cultural differences do not frustrate people, wood elves become very friendly and cheerful company.

Alive/Extinct

Wood Elves exist until the 4th era.
