Welcome to the Lands of Arda
Thirteen fragments, beings with vast power, originating from the Divine Realm, traveled to this newly found planet. These fragments, later known as the major gods, live in the Divine Realm together with other fragments. They called themselves fragments as they believe they all originated from one, all powerful being, that created all universes, but then split. The thirteen fragments were close like siblings and always did things together. The planet when it was found was barren, without life or magic, but it had potential. The one that was first to spot this new planet, named Arda, did not hesitate to detach herself from the Divine Realm and imbue with the planet to give it life and magic. That was seen as a great sacrifice by the other twelve, who knew that their sibling Arda would not be able to return until this planet is no more.
The twelve gods split into three groups, which were later known as Gold (Good), Silver (Evil) and Emerald (Neutral). The groups stayed the same, except from three changes. Dominaria switched from Gold to Silver, Iskar from Emerald to Gold and Oromne from Silver to Emerald. The exact dates of those changes are largely unknown but they are approximated at the end of 1st Era or the early centuries of the 2nd.
From that change and onwards no shifts have been reported. The groups are as following:
Gold (Good) | Silver (Evil) | Emerald (Neutral) |
Besides the twelve major fragments, lesser fragments travelled to the world of Arda for various reasons. Other seeking to gain followers, other intrigued by events, other simply by curiosity, others banished from their previous worlds or other seeking refuge from forces that want them perished. These Lesser fragments are not as powerful as the twelve gods and cannot sustain themselves by feeding from multiple plains. They are also referred as "local gods" and such local communities or events is what feeds them. They full extent of their power varies, but many estimate them to be equally strong as the first dragons. Lesser fragments are not widely known, even though they'd wish to be. Even if they could be amassing a large amount of followers, they prefer to be more subtle, to not incur the wrath of major fragments for stealing their energy. Some of the Lesser Fragments work as Patrons, offer power to individuals known as warlocks, in exchange of tasks or worship.

Backstory
Where did your character grow up? What place do they call "home" now? (could
be the same or different.)
Grew up in the forest lands of Razorleaf in the north. I became agile and familiar in the elven architecture hopping across building tops and racing through the forests.
Who raised your character and how? What are these people doing now?
My mother and father were brilliant astronomers both. Taught me the means of star gazing and celestial history. They raised me well in a loving home outside the main city. They were killed by a necromancer travelling through town. He'd robbed my parents and burnt down the building before leaving me in the house to die.
How did your attribute scores affect your character?
My strengthened abilities were honed over the years of navigating my surroundings like a monkey through the trees or running across rooftops. I trained to become a holy warrior to spread righteous justice through beauty and truth.
What made your character obtain the class they have now?
Although vain and sensational, I genuinely believe my devotion toward all that is beauty can spread unanimous good throughout the lands. Because of this, I humbly travel the world spreading my beliefs and transforming the places I visit for the better.
What your character doing in recent years before the campaign's start?
Before joining my current party, I'd been travelling solo as a pilgrim spreading my devotion toward beauty and justice. Sometimes I'd work as a mercenary for justice, pursuing criminals and aiding townspeople as I went.
What motivated your character to leave their previous lifestyle and become adventurers?
My parents raised me to believe in the power of truth and justice. Through my own pursuit as a holy warrior, I found self worth and holy servitude in leaving a structured life as a warrior, instead focusing on travelling and spreading my good word as a pilgrim.
Which people are important for your character?
I met Sister Teddy upon bringing a young, dying boy into town. She saved him, and I immediately took an appreciation toward her gifted abilities to heal. Her ugliness disgusted me, and I'm now making it my mission to correct her inappropriately hideous nature. In this pursuit, I met Cornelia, a gifted wizard who may be able to help me correct Sister Teddy's appearance. If Cornelia studies long enough, she may be able to work some magic to fix Sister Teddy's appearance.
What connections does your character have to the other player characters?
I've found comradery and goals working with Sister Teddy and Cornelia. In our own time together, we stumbled upon Fenthick, a talented ranger with a proficiency in handling trouble. His hideous appearance has equally spurred me to make it my mission to find a worldly cure to correct the ugliness that spreads throughout the land.
Name a promise you have made to another player character that you would never break.
I will promise to do everything in my power to help the ugliness that has plagued Sister Teddy and Fenthick. They have inspired a new longing in me to find a means to rid the lands of ugliness like theirs.
If nothing happened, what short/long term goals does your character have?
My long term goals are to spread beauty, justice, and truth throughout the world. In the short term, I'm traveling and helping others as I can as a hired mercenary and agent of the crown. When worthy work appears, I make myself useful. When I'm not working on side jobs and requests of the places I travel to, I'm finding new means of creating beauty, transforming others into more beautiful beings, and finding an ultimate "cure" to ugliness.
What makes your character a likeable adventurer that others would be willing to have to risk their lives for?
Although a seemingly shallow elf, people find Vigo as a genuinely caring individual. His motivations at first seem ridiculous, but after getting to know why he pursues truth and justice in the name of beauty, people understand his intentions are to bring good to the world. He wants the best possible outcome for all good people, and genuinely believes this can best be accomplished through beautifying the world and the people in it.
What has your character done in the past, that they now deeply regret?
The biggest regret is not being in his parent's shop the day they were murdered. If he'd been there, he could have tried to prevent their needless murder. He was supposed to be there that day, and will always feel the sting of regret knowing he'd made a selfish and costly mistake.
Are there any people that would wish harm to your character and why?
Vigo has a target on his back from many outlaws and criminal organizations he's fought and dealt with. Vigo works in the name of the crown and for his Goddess, leaving those with ill intentions and criminal motivations to see Vigo as a common enemy.

Overview/Backstory
A fervent follower of Zeriax, never afraid of death, and unusually capable with a greatbow. Hailing from the Duskmaul family, he carries with him their signature obsidian-headed maul that he definitely didn't steal. Had a tendency of being quite straightforward, blunt, and not taking any shit when he didn't want it, often throwing money at a problem if it solved it. Often joked at by his comrades for being "over-prepared" and grumpy.

Defeated the Floor Guardian of the first floor.
Helped solve the problem of the plague in Highgate.
