Roohen Was a bright scholar in a prestigious academy but decided to leave to the atolls to educate the common folk.
He has an affinity for getting himself kidnapped and was rescued by the crew at least twice. He gets along best with Captain Renad.
When the crew discovered Ras had magic, they asked him to teach her because they didn't want the navy to do that. He taught her whatever he could (which included alchemy), but because he is no seer, he couldn't teach more than theory.
Currently mid to late 30s. He has a school in Ga'liiri where he teaches reading, writing, math, and the occasional magic.
Roohen has a very impressive writing brush collection that he is very proud of.
