Ras and I got back to the ship and we told The Captain that we saw the ex-Captain. He said that we didn't even see Kaeran, so we're in a bad state that we could be caught. The Captain assigned us different jobs. Sumiya is to try and find Haliinural Beequs (Haliin)'s family, or signs of them. Zayne and I were sent off to go look for the ex-captain, and Ras is supposed to find their ex-teacher.
Zayne and I waited for the evening then head into town to find Captain Aelrik.I wanted to get a disguise so if we spot him he doesn't recognize me, and honestly I thought I would end up with a really cool looking fake face mask or something... but instead I feel really ridiculous. I feel like I'm drawing more attention than I am hiding in plain sight, like Zayne said this outfit was doing... We went to The Orange, a tavern, and tried to fit in. I ordered something from the other table but it was pricey... and... I really don't think we're getting a whole lot done.
The first mate from the Shining Sea Bass showed up, and said she recognized me. I acted like I never met her, and she seemed to believe me so that's a relief.
