Kaynan Gelveron begins descending the stairs with the party when he remembers that he's left his shield back in the room where they first encountered the Morlocks.
Kaynan meets Augrael, an undead morlock ghoul. He is wary of the party at first but slowly warms up to indifference as they regale him with their feats thus far. He offers his aid to the party in exchange for killing the leader of the Cult of the Ghost Queen: Graulgust.
The party is reunited once Kaynan returns and informs the party of his adventures. They decide to put a pin in the bounty on Graulgust for now and venture through the library floor. They advance west into a room covered in a thick mist. Everybody carefully makes their way through until Jek trips on something. He turns and comes face to face with a large floating eye. Red tentacles begin to hastily lash out towards Jek!

The Mist Stalker is quickly sliced up by the party, but not without taking some minor injuries. The party rests for half an hour while Ebrah treats everyone's wounds.
They advance onward towards the south where Kaynan clocks some hidden doors. He opens the first door he reaches. Inside is a small room with a tattered sofa. A flash of green light appears and begins to take shape in the form of another message:
"Belcorra fell to the Roseguard, but we never knew of these vaults below..."
The energy once slides off to the floor and serpentines away, except this time it goes back the way the party came then heads northeast.
The party enters a sizable hallway. The stone walls along it have had bookshelves carved into them. A quartet of ghouls notice the party enter and they leap towards them.

The party loses sight of the green energy and their attention is drawn to the circular room to the south. A twisting ribbon of eerie blue light tethers from the ceiling to the floor...just like the sand pit room in the floor above. Three ghouls are tending to the bookshelves that wrap the walls within this circular room. They spring into action to feast on the party.
