Not much is known about the kobold named Jek. His psychic abilities and adept capabilities with a knife do most of the talking. 

Kaynan was born in raised in the nation of Sothis. As he grew he strove to be great and honorable warrior. This drive led him to serve in the Mendevian Crusades where he was chosen by the god Anubis to become his champion. After the Crusades, he began making his way back home when he came across the town of Otari.

Ma're K'rill sailed alongside Navlok Pierce abord the Wavepiercer for many years. They worked their way up the ship's ranks together until Navlok was captain and Ma're his first mate. Navlok left the vessel to return home to Otari following his brother's death during an adventure gone wrong and declared Ma're as interim captain. The Wavepiercer would dock again in Otari years later when word of Navlok's death reached the crew. Ma're now adventures as a member of Navlok's party, The Vaultbusters, in a quest to bring his former captain back to life.
