Telekinesis - not to be confused with Telepathy - is one of the two major mental powers. It grants users the ability to interact with the physical world with only their mind. The most common form is to be able to lift, throw, and manipulate objects using an invisible 'hand' from a distance. The specific strengths or limitations of the power varies from person to person, and don't often follow the same rules.
For example one person's strength and control may come from their ability to concentrate; when they're distracted they're weak and sloppy. Another person's focus may play no part in this, and their powers work better when inspired, or under certain emotional conditions.
