Unbeknownst to the Emris Adventuring Guild, Arian Hamaldor's fate did not end with his untimely death at the hands of Eskel. Instead, his lifeless body was taken to the Tomb of the Suns Eclipse by High Priest Ishmael. Here, in the shadowy depths of the ancient crypt, Ishmael conducted horrific experiments, seeking to further his dark arts of necromancy and eternal life.
Years later, The Sunsations adventuring group discovered Arian's partially mummified remains while exploring the crypt. The sight of their fallen comrade, now a grotesque figure of half-preserved flesh and bone, filled them with both sorrow and resolve. Using the spell Speak with Dead, they communicated with Arian's tormented soul.
Arian's spirit, now broken and wracked with anguish, expressed a single wish: to die as a warrior once and for all. Despite the unimaginable horrors he had endured, Arian's last desire was to be remembered for the valor he showed in life.
To honor this wish, Kairus the Brass placed a sun-blessed mace in Arian's withered hands, a symbol of strength and light. Then, with a heavy heart, Septimus Lucien raised his blade and swiftly decapitated Arian, granting him the honorable death he yearned for. In that solemn moment, Arian's spirit was finally at peace, freed from the torment that had bound him to the crypt for so long.
Arian Hamaldor's story serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made in the struggle against darkness and the enduring quest for justice. His memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, a testament to the strength and resilience of a warrior who never ceased to fight, even in death.
