Eremoz

This character is dead.
Owl School Adventurer
NPC

Eremoz was born beneath the tangled boughs of the Unknown, amidst the roar of thunder-lizards and the low, reverent stories of his people—the nomadic Leonin tribes of the southern wilds. His fur bore streaks of silver in his mane from birth, a sign of prophetic lineage in the eyes of his elders. Yet what truly set him apart was a trait almost heretical amongst the leonin: the ability to channel the Ether. He could feel the hum of the Weave, draw it subtly into his blood, and manifest short bursts of Rift Magic—a gift feared, respected, and often misunderstood.

Renowned as a silent tracker and revered for his arcane ability, Eremoz was hailed as a guardian of his people.

But he could not save them.

The Wrath of Kul’Khan

One humid night beneath the stars, as the jungle slept to the rhythm of cicadas, the ground trembled. Trees cracked like bones, rivers boiled to steam, and from the heart of the forest emerged Kul'Khan—The Mountain of Scales, King of the Jungle. A primordial force clad in obsidian hide and ivory tusks.

His people died screaming. One by one, crushed beneath the titans claws or consumed whole by it.

Only Eremoz survived—hidden by the sacrifice of his kin. He fled beneath the canopy, haunted by the titan’s roar, until he reached the sea.

Exile & Arrival in Serrakhan

With nothing left but memory and fear, Eremoz carved a raft from driftwood and vine and cast himself into the waters of Dragon's Reach, hoping Kul’Khan would not follow where the sea reigned. But the gods were cruel—or perhaps, watchful—for a storm caught him in its grip, and the waves tried to claim what the jungle could not.

He awoke coughing sand and seawater, body broken but alive, upon the sun-scorched shores of The Sands of Serrakhan.

The first thing he saw: a golden statue of Malekith rising from the dunes, gleaming in defiance of death upon the Sun Shrine.

It was then he vowed to become stronger. To return. To end what had befallen his people.

He walked westward beneath the blazing sun, across the endless dunesea, until he reached the city of Shariz. There, he heard a voice echo across the sandstone courtyards—a call to arms from Headmaster Altair Emris, summoning adventurers to a higher purpose.

Eremoz answered.

The Path of No Return

Years passed. Eremoz became a stalwart of the Emris Adventuring Guild, revered for his discipline, humility, and the quiet fire that never dimmed in his eyes. His bond with The Sunsations was forged in battle and blood, and when they journeyed to the Y’azi Peninsula, he went willingly—especially when he learned Kul’Khan still stirred in the depths of Tigre.

With Ramune Leone, Kairus the Brass, and Nika Nu Ten / Zyla Nu Ten at his side, Eremoz returned to his homeland. Together, they crossed rushing rapids, cut through vine-choked ruins, and followed the footprints of the titan to the Unknown, where Saurus Warlocks sought to enslave Kul’Khan in a necromantic ritual.

The battle was chaos. Hordes of Saurus warriors descended in a primeval fury. Jungle beasts raged. Kul’Khan, possessed by a dark power, rampaged through the shattered temple ruins.

Eremoz charged into battle—but met his end beneath a storm of boulders hurled by the raging beast.

Legacy by the Sea

The survivors fled, barely escaping the collapse of the temple. And as dawn broke across the eastern coast, Kul’Khan emerged—not as a beast, but as a god restored. Silent. Watching.

He laid down the bodies of Eremoz and Nika upon the black shore, before vanishing into the mist of the jungle, echoing a final omen in Primordial.

“Flesh to root. Soul to soil. Moon bleeds. Earth feeds. Zythrozal... No more. Breath of the wild, once more. You are... remembered.”

Ramune wept beside the tide, and with trembling hands, buried Eremoz beneath a cairn of jungle stone and coral.

His final words etched into the sand: “That which comes from the jungle… must return to it.”

And so it did.
