Al'Jzyzz was borne to an impoverished family of failed merchants within the desolate town of Torbah. Living off of scraps and meager pay, Al'Jzyzz sought a grander future across the dune sea, selling his wares to all manner of traveller and merchant. After many years of peddling his wares and collecting runed artifacts for sale to members of the Emris Adventuring Guild, Al'Jzyzz founded the 'Al'Jzyzz Emporium' as a bastion of wealth and prosperity in an otherwise devoid Torbah. Coming at odds with the local Freelove gypsy family due to their transient nature and reluctance to purchase his wares, Al'Jzyzz found himself in a precarious entanglement with the adventurer Kairus, who deceived him into wearing a cursed ring of impotence after attempting to pay them to rough up the Freelove family. Shamed and outcast even from his hometown of Torbah, Al'Jzyzz sought out new ventures within the Shaar Slums of an increasingly modern Shariz.
