These chained blades were made of the jawbone of a primordial beast, believed to have been slain by Skorn himself, taken as a trophy in his bloody warpath across the known world, being fashioned into a crude weapon of raw power. Chained together, these savage mandibles have been infused with the essence of the risen god of wrath, allowing its user to draw strength from his infernal rage. Corrupting the wielders own bloodlust, the blades possessed the unique ability to summon an avatar of Skorn, which would temporarily wreath the wielder in spectral flames, while assuming an infernal form similar to that of the risen deity himself. Most notably, adventurer Urs Salbatic wielded the blades until his demise at the hands of Primarch Losk the Wanderer, being dragged beneath the earth by fiery chains as his soul passed on.
