Skoll is a ferocious and insatiable demon lord worshiped by Gnolls, Demons, and all manner of bestial creatures. Known as the Wolf of Endless Hunger, Skoll embodies the primal, unchecked force of ravenous destruction. His very existence is dedicated to tearing down civilization and feasting upon the remains of those who dare stand against him. It is believed that Skoll was manifested from the savage instincts of predatory beasts and wild animals whom hunted the continents during the Third Age: Age of The Elves.
Skoll appears as a towering wolf-like demon, standing between 12 to 14 feet tall, with a gaunt, emaciated form that belies his relentless strength and hunger. His face is a grinning skull-like visage with burning emerald or amber eyes that seem to pierce the very soul of his prey. A mangy, yellow crest of fur runs from the crown of his head to the middle of his back, with sparse, scabby patches of fur elsewhere on his pale, gray body. His hide is leathery and scarred, evidence of countless battles and the brutal nature of his existence.
Adorning his chest is a gruesome patchwork of discarded shields and breastplates, held together by weighty, rusted chains and decorated with the flayed skins of his most recent victims. The only weapon he needs is his massive, three-headed flail, each head representing an aspect of his unquenchable hunger and savage wrath.
Skoll's desires are savage and single-minded. He exists only to slaughter, destroy, and devour. The terror and sorrow of his victims feed his insatiable appetite, and he takes great pleasure in crushing hope before delivering the final, fatal blow. Skoll despises civilization and would see it all reduced to a wasteland of blood and bone. In his ideal world, the savage laws of the hunt would reign supreme, with all other creatures either enslaved or devoured.
Skoll's influence stretches across the planes, particularly in the chaos of the Abyss and the savage wildernesses of the material plane. His gnollish followers, along with various other monstrous beasts, serve as his instruments of destruction. They spread his will through endless war and bloodshed, devouring all in their path.
In the distant future, Skoll envisions a final confrontation—a world reduced to a wasteland, where only the strongest warrior remains. In this ultimate battle, Skoll will face the last champion of the mortal world, tear them asunder, and stand victorious over a decaying, corpse-laden world—a fitting paradise for the Lord of Insatiable Hunger.
Skoll is a member of the Unknown, his power waxing and waning with the savagery and primal instincts of those who pay homage to him. His very presence warps reality, instilling a deep, primal fear in all creatures who sense his approach. Although his chaotic essence exists in the Plane of Khaos, he is both feared and revered by those who seek to channel his insatiable wrath into the Prime Plane as well.
