Built and ran for many years by the Honning merchant family, beekeepers by trade, the house was constructed to sustain large honey production capabilities which were once used to create many batches of honey infused mead to be distributed throughout Avalon. Despite relative success in its early years, time took its toll on the estate as tragedy struck the Honning family as Esmerelda Honnings husband, Adar Honning, was killed after a frenzy of bees overwhelmed him. Ever since this, Esmerelda has confined herself in the house, barricading herself from the outside world at times.
