The Temple of The Fallen is a sacred site of penance and solemn worship. Surrounded by the graves of Avalons ancestors, the temple represents the remembrance of the dead who built the foundations of whats stood upon today. The temple is sometimes used for punishment, having convicts practice religious penance by spending extended periods of isolation with the spirits inside the temple, so that their traditions and values can be restored in the unfaithful. In times of catastrophe, the temple is typically filled with the mourning to help pass on their spirits to the Plane of Gaian.
