Husband to Alana and former head of House Aefir, Elendril was a nobleman of unwavering dedication to his family. Tricked by rumors of Tyrael’s survival, he embarked on a solo expedition across the Silver Veil Sea to find his lost kin. Unfortunately, his ship was beset by the Ghastly Crew of The Valorant, commanded by the revenant Captain Ulric. Enslaved aboard the cursed ghost ship, Elendril was forced to serve until his son Guy tracked him down, slew Ulric in a fierce battle, and lifted the curse, freeing both his father and the tormented souls aboard the Valorant.
Chosen as an Avatar by Zirael (aka Goldbrand), the Golden Dragon, Guy was destined for greatness. After being separated from his family during a tumultuous period in Aerenal’s history, he returned to his people as a savior. In his legendary journey, Guy hunted down and slew the demon Balthazar, liberating the lands from the fiend’s grasp and restoring honor to the house.
The mother of Guy the Grateful and his step-siblings, Alana carried the house’s legacy with grace and dedication, passing on its values to the next generation. She passed away whilst hunting Balthazar the Blighted to The Crucible with Guy.
