Known for his elegant swordsmanship, Vicerys was the eldest of the Janissary Order and acted as right hand of Sultan Hakim Atis after having saved him from an assassination attempt by the resurgent Snake Cult. Traditional in values and his manners, Vicerys served as the old guard of the Janissary Order and had the respect of his brothers and sisters under the oath. As a kid, he was raised into a noble family of local Shariz politicians which vied for the ire of the sultan within his elegant court. Gaining the respect of Sultan Hakim Atis as an aspiring scribe, Vicerys proved himself an avid sparring partner for the Sultan before the two become close friends and trusted allies over the years.
