Lula River

The Lula is generally a slow flowing river from north to south, but it can become a fast flowing torrent during heavy rains. It contains harmful parasites and dangerous fauna such as crocodiles, snakes and poisonous fish. Crocodiles tend to sun themselves in well known areas, usually up river from Seregon and can be easily avoided. Under rare circumstances, a crocodile might make it ashore in Seregon, usually during a storm.

Bridges are rare and prone to being washed away in flash floods. The banks of the river in Seregon are built high to allow the flow of the river without overflow and prevent anything in the river from easily getting into the city. High water can change that.

Most native folk make use of shallow draft watercraft and use the rivers as a natural highway, with regular touts offering ferry service in the Kerkhof Ferry District. When in search of rescue or aid remaining close to a clearly navigable river can be a wise course of action, especially as most settlements will be near such waterways. Several Straphangers camps are up river, including Camp Refuge and Camp Vanguard.
