Location: A block west of Kerkhof Station, against the city wall.

An adventurers favorite, the inn has a jungle theme with sturdy furniture made from local trees. The inn feels like a lodge, nestled comfortably in the jungle. Jungle birds gently chirp while you can hear the sound of a waterfall down in the atrium. Seregonians often come here for getaways or honeymoons, making a stay take some of the pressure off the danger of the stifling jungle just over the walls.

The Waterfall

An indoor waterfall leads to a river flowing under dense foliage, appearing to continue through the back wall of the inn. With the help of Thorne Wildwood, the proprietor, you can get into a canoe and make your way through the foliage. You'll be magically transported beyond the city walls onto the Lula RiverClement Schoonoven recently went missing doing just that with his adventuring party.

Thorne sells several kits to interested adventurers, for 50gp each:

  • Jungle Survival Kit: This kit contains a machete, a spear, a water filter, and a compass Wisdom: Survival checks made to determine location and direction using a compass are made with advantage.
  • Jungle Salve: The salve can be applied to a wound to heal 1 hp. It also gives resistance to poison and disease for an hour after using. This salve is a valuable tool for surviving in the jungle.
  • Jungle Insect Repellant: A gourd contains 20 applications of odorless grease. One application protects its wearer against normal insects for 24 hours. The salve is waterproof so it doesn't wash off in rain. The grease lasts for 8 hours and repels normal insects within a 20-foot-radius centered on it
  • Canoe (the price of the ride): This colorful, multi colored canoe (a dozen patterns to choose from) holds up to six Medium creatures and has a maximum speed of 2 mph. It is otherwise identical to a rowboat (see the Dungeon Master's Guide). Thorne makes canoes as his hobby and is well known for them.

He also has some bespoke experimental canoes:

  • Adamantine Canoe. It moves at 3 mph, weighs 50 pounds instead of 100 pounds, and is nearly indestructible. 600gp
  • Folding Canoe. Same as a regular canoe, but weighs 4 pounds folded into a box. 9,000gp
