Also known as the "waking eye", Aslyn represents the transition from night to dawn. Worshipped across Somnum, they are are viewed as a genderless god of light and life. Their symbol has been interpreted both as the waking dawn as well as the opening of an eye, bringing in light to banish evil and bless their followers. Aslyn's existence is theologically thought to oppose Ixhis, the "closing eye".
